Who We Are

CoHIA is a non-profit organization of homicide investigators, district attorney's investigators, coroner's investigators, crime scene technicians, criminalists, crime analysts, and other criminal and forensic investigators. 

CoHIA strives to provide opportunity and encourage exchange of information relative to homicide investigation. CoHIA further promotes quality homicide investigations by providing training, communication, support, and encouragement of the membership. 

CoHIA has grown to include members from law enforcement agencies, district attorney's offices, and coroner's offices throughout the state; as well as the Colorado Bureau of Investigation; the Colorado Attorney General's Office; the Colorado Department of Corrections, the Federal Bureau of Investigation; the United States Air Force; and the United States Department of the Treasury.
